Monday Meal Plan on a Tuesday

I'm excited to start sharing my meal plan with you on Mondays.  It's the best tip I can give you when starting a Paleo approach to your eating.  I worked all weekend and so I'm grateful that Mr. made our meal plan and did our shopping this weekend.  He's a keeper :D

Monday: Pecan crusted fish with salad
Tuesday: Sloppy Joe and zucchini fries
Wednesday: Spaghetii squash and roasted carrots
Thursday: Brisket and Cauliflower
Friday: Steak and potato

Breakfast: Eggs, Bacon, Avocado
Lunch: Leftovers from night before
Snacks: celery, grapes, apples, carrots

I was so excited when Mr. told me he asked the boys what they wanted on the menu this week.  They **REQUESTED** spaghetti squash, carrots, AND cauliflower!  Read how I introduced spaghetti squash to the boys here: 10 Ways to get your kids to eat Paleo

10 Things Couples Starting their Paleo Journey Should Know!

Mr. and I started our Paleo Journey pretty much together.  I can't say that it was a smooth beginning.  We definitely have learned a lot through the process and continue to do so.  Here's a quick list of 10 things you should know when starting the Paleo Journey as a Couple!   1. Support from your partner! I HEART EGGS!

Pre paleo, I was not a breakfast eater.  I would go in spurts but a bowl of cereal or a cup of yogurt were about as much as I ever thought of regarding breakfast.  I am not a morning person either, so many days I would be running too late for breakfast.   Then came Paleo.  As I was learning how to navigate the lifestyle I was already tired of eggs.  I didn't love eggs.  I promise I've been trying to avoid loving them but something happened to me in the last 6 months and it's time that I come clean.  I love eggs!  I look forward to them every morning. Sometimes at night I think about how I will make them the next day! Woo...that feels better.
