Before and During Pictures

These pictures really need no words. But I can't help myself...tomorrow Emeals.com is doing a blog spot on Mr. and I's lifestyle change for Transformation Tuesday. They had requested 'after' photos of us. Luckily, we have a friend with a good eye and she used my camera to snap a few shots. Although I didn't take before measurements looking at these photos side by side helps me appreciate where I was and how far I have come. This year we will be taking our 'got there' photos! Until then there's work to be done....

58 Days to go....I am strong! +Emeals Recipe Share

58 days to go until I've been Paleo Crossfit for 1 year! I feel strong today...with will power that is. I feel no need to have my Paleo cheats. Maybe I've done a quick detox of yummy chocolate or maybe I'm too stressed to think about it. I'd love to report back that last nights run melted all my anxiety...but it didn't. I did take the time to really count my blessings and thank God for all that he has given me and our family. It's hard to understand why and how things happen sometimes but standing on Faith is important and that is what I choose to do. So when I woke up this morning I was determined to stick with the plan that I outlined a couple of days ago...and that's just was I did! That's why I feel strong! 10 Things Couples Starting their Paleo Journey Should Know!

Mr. and I started our Paleo Journey pretty much together. I can't say that it was a smooth beginning. We definitely have learned a lot through the process and continue to do so. Here's a quick list of 10 things you should know when starting the Paleo Journey as a Couple! 1. Support from your partner! Support from your partner is key to your journey. It's been one of the best things we've done as far as our relationship is concerned. We've literally lost a person (130 lbs) in 6 months. 20 Days into Paleo Challenge

This sort of feels like a picture overload dump but I've been busy the last 20 days. I joined Civilized Caveman's 30 Days to a Better You Challenge. It's just the motivation I needed to start this new journey. I've really struggled staying on Paleo. Lots of outside factors impacted that. But my bodies constant yearn to feel strong and healthy again never went away. I'm grateful to my family and husband and great Integrative Medicine doctor who have been gently pushing me back to the right path. I've spend that last 20 days trying intermittent fasting on for size and it's been really great. I think it feels much different than how I was used to coach others in regards to eating. Where before I spent a lot of time planning 3 meals and 3 snacks I now eat 2 or 3 times a day and only sometimes snack. I'm a morning workout girl so breakfast always came early to me.
