5 days down...Day 57/61...1 year Crossfit/Paleo

I started my day off with a run.  It wasn't my best and I did stop twice to walk a bit and catch my breath but I did it!  2.5 miles logged today.  The boys rode their bikes along side me which is better than them running with me.  I came home and worked on double unders.  I figured while I was away from CF and getting weaker, I might as well get better at something.  I did 20...but not in a row.  Lots of jump roping this a.m. :D  I stretched a lot afterwards.  My back pain is getting better!  Not 100%, but I do now feel like I can brush my teeth without holding myself up on the counter.

Today is a chore/errand day around our house.  We're planning on spending time today at our neighborhood pool.  I'm looking forward to checking out and letting go of the anxiety build up!

So today instead of blogging at night I am going to try and update as the day progresses.  We'll see how this works!
Breakfast
2 eggs, 1 slice of bacon, 1/2 avocado

Just got in for the evening...so I guess blogging throughout the day doesn't work for me.  But that's o.k. because I've had a great day with my boys!  Pool time, baseball, and a yummy dinner!

Leftover roast and carrots from yesterday!
Snack
1/2 cucumber and carrots
Dinner
Grilled Tilapia and Julienned Carrots, Zuchinni, and Onions sauteed in Ghee!
This guy ate all his veggies and wanted to buy himself a Banana Split.  He and I rode our bikes to a local summer ice cream spot...and I didn't even have a bite!  Willpower!

Don't spoil a wonderful healthy dinner with a dessert like this.  It messes up all the work you've done PLUS it prevents your body from properly absorbing all the nutrients.  Food IS a Drug #Paleo

Mr. and I started our Paleo Journey pretty much together.  I can't say that it was a smooth beginning.  We definitely have learned a lot through the process and continue to do so.  Here's a quick list of 10 things you should know when starting the Paleo Journey as a Couple!   1. I've reset again and have been following my Paleo Lifestyle for over 30 days.  I'm walking, lifting, and eating right! Again, the first 2 weeks were super tough as I detoxed from the sugar and carbs.  But I'm well on the other side of that now and so glad! I do have a little secret to my morning routine that's kept me moving even when my muscles and joints are soar.  I'm sharing this with you and an affiliate link through Amazon. I've added this collagen powder to my bulletproof coffee and can tell a difference.  Some of the added benefits beyond my joints can be found in my fingernails and hair growth.  I'm on my second container of this particular brand. In the morning add 1-2 tsp of coconut oil, 1-2 tsp of grass fed butter, and a scoop of this Collagen Powder to my Magic Bullet and fill the rest with coffee.  10-15 second of blending and it makes a wonderful fat filled coffee that allows my intermittent fasting to happen.
